The Mood:

As one of the original farmhouses in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, this home is oozing eclectic charm. Characteristic of older homes however are the small, compartmentalized rooms. Our job in the kitchen and the master bathroom, was to open, lighten and freshen things up!

The Client:

Our client is a busy and very well travelled professional with a love for cozy and colorful interiors. We instantly clicked with his vibe and achieved his desires for an entertaining kitchen and open main space. Adding a welcoming bathroom retreat complete with skylight and steam shower gives him a lovely oasis for an at-home wind down after work trip away.
